University together with information
on the appointment of expatriate
faculty members (Non-Nepalese)
by Nepal Medical College under
contractual service agreement
which are as follow:
Nepal
Medical College invites application
from interested and qualified
expatriate (non- Nepalese)
medical doctors with MBBS
and MD/ MS or equivalent qualifications
for different faculty positions
on two years contractual service
appointment. Those interested

Enclosing photocopies of all
academic testimonials, scientific
papers published, registration
certificate of Medical Council
of own country together with
the last appointment letter.

Eligibility
criteria of Kathmandu University
for Professor, Associate Professor,
Assistant Professor and Lecturer
post:
1.
For Professor:
a. Should have postgraduate
degree or equivalent qualification
in the respective subject
together with teaching/ working
experience of three years
as Associate Professor or
equivalent post, and
b. Should have minimum of
two original research and
two original articles published
in national/ international
journals as the main author
at the level of Associate
Professor.
ii.
Associate Professor:
a. Should have postgraduate
degree or equivalent qualification
in the respective subject
together with teaching/ working
experience of seven years
as Assistant Professor and
Lecturer combined or seven
years of teaching/ working
experience as Lecturer or
equivalent post, and
b. should have minimum of
two original researches as
main author and two other
publications as main/ co-author
in national/ international
scientific journals at the
level of Assistant Professor.
iii. Assistant Professor:
a. Should have postgraduate
degree or equivalent qualification
in the respective subject
together with teaching/ working
experience of three years
as Lecturer or equivalent
posts, and
b. Should have minimum of
two original publications
as the main author in national/
international scientific journals.
iv. Lecturer
Should have postgraduate degree
or equivalent qualification
in the respective subject.
Note:
1. The research and publications
already considered for the
previous post will not be
taken into consideration.
2. Research and publications
done in fulfillment for acquiring
postgraduate qualifications
will not be taken into consideration.
