COST
OF HEMODIALYSIS:
NMCTH is charging Rs. 1000/-
(One thousand rupees) per session
of hemodialysis excluding the
government taxes. This cost
does not include the cost for
medications and materials (e.g.
dialysers, tubings, IV fluids,
buffers, Inj. Heparin etc.)
needed during hemodialysis and
laboratory costs. Patients are
free to buy these from outside
but they should meet the quality
defined by this unit. This unit
is reusing the dialysers for
average of eight times. The
average cost per session including
materials would be around Rs.1800/-
provided dialysers could be
reused for eight or more times.
This unit however does not guarantee
regarding the reusability of
dialysers as sometimes due to
many factors dialysers cannot
be reused for above mentioned
times.
